Why change is necessary for growth?
Growth and change are one and the same. You can’t have one without the other.
When I don’t move, when I don’t take the first step, everything stays the same. The habit of waiting starts to form. It becomes a deep-rooted pattern. I become habituated to wait.
I become stagnant. What happens when stagnant water sits around? Mosquitoes and other bacteria form. Rot and decay start to form. So, actually, that is also change and growth!!
It’s not in the optimal direction to bring me to fulfilment, though. It may cause me more pain. It may cause more work and restoration.
So, it’s your choice in which direction you want to go. Re-building, re-‘habbing’, recouping…simply maintaining/surviving or rejoicing, revitalizing, renewing and thriving.
Change will happen either way, whether you select it or not. You may as well be the creator/creatress of your life and bring your dreams into reality before reality takes over your life.
Everything you have ever dreamed of is one step out of your comfort zone. I challenge you to take that one step.
Each day can be one step closer to creating the life of your dreams and actually living it! No matter what age or stage you are currently in, the change will either continue with you or without you. So, step in and be the leader of your life.
